Findings: Tough Traveler is known to make high quality gear that lasts and lasts. I have an old stallion carrier that I’ve had for nearly 15 years and it is still going strong! The cost is a bit high–probably because it is made in the good old USA. I commend TT for being one of the few outdoor companies still manufacturing here. My only complaint about the back is the metal stays in the back. I think they come up too high and I had trouble with the kids hitting their head on them. Overall, this is a quality pack just right for a new backpacker. See the slide show for more.
