Specs per manufacturer: For cold nights or chilly sleepers, the Dragonfly offers a healthy helping of HeatSync insulation, a tricot-lined foot box for extra-warm feet, a draft tube to seal the zipper, and an ergonomic hood to seal in body heat. The included Sleep E-Z Pillow slots into its own pocket for comfort, while another pocket on the chest stores headlamps or other essentials. An interior clothes warming pocket keeps items nearby for the morning and an attached stuff sack never gets lost.

Weight: 1 lb 13 oz

Stuff size 7″ x 17″

Findings: Sierra Designs has really done a great job with this youth bag. The features are practical, functional and don’t add unnecessary weight. I was worried that a 40 degree bag wouldn’t keep my daughter warm enough, but she was totally fine even on a cold, wet, windy night. This bag also comes in a 20 degree version as well as boy colors. At under 2 lbs, it is the lightest youth sleeping bag on the market. It is actually light weight enough that my 6 year old can carry it herself backpacking. It is a standard length for a youth bag and should fit her for at least another 6 years. I highly recommend this bag for kids! See the slide show for more pics.
