Findings: A PFD only works if you wear it. This is where comfort plays a huge role in safety. If it is comfy, the kids will wear it all day and that keeps them safe on the water. The Youth Discovery is cut for kids who are moving. MTI obviously did their homework when they were designing this vest. For youth sailors and kayakers, this is the vest for you. Remember, young children need the PFD’s with head support. This vest is for older kids.
