Findings: Technical wear for pregnant moms?? Really, they have to wait till I’m done having kids to come out with this stuff? You mean I didn’t really have to wear my husband’s stretched out poly all those months? Mountain Mama is on to something big here with their new line of clothing and everyone is taking notice. They just earned the 2010 Outdoor Inspiration Award (along with REI) at Outdoor Retailers Show in Utah. So the concept of maternity technical wear is a great one, but what about quality? Well, I’m pleased to report that M-M is scoring big there as well. They put a lot of thought into details of their designs and the materials are soft and comfy to those stretched out itchy bellies. An example is the optional suspenders for late in pregnancy when nothing wants to stay up on your belly. As a proponent of getting little kids outside early and often, I wholeheartedly recommend M-M wear. Don’t stop moving just because of your bun in the oven! Gear up and get out!
