The Medus mitts are great for all outdoor winter uses, such as skiing or snowboarding, snowmobiling, winter camping, and many more. This mitt has an index finger hole as well as the thumb hole so it makes holding on to stuff much easier. Also, These mitts stay pretty dry overall. They have only gotten wet from the inside because of body perspiration. The mitts are within themselves their own liner, so that they stay extra warm. Plus, there is flap that goes about three inches over the wrist and can be tightened for the wrist and the end of the flap so that no snow can get through to your hand. Overall these mitts are a great winter mitt that will last.
Additions from mom: I really hesitated letting Joey use mitts this expensive. He isn’t very gentle on his gear and $150 is a lot to spend. I have been pleasantly surprised how well these have held up though. We ski every weekend all winter long and he uses them at home digging snow forts and the like and still have no holes or tears. I can’t say the same for any other mitt he has ever used. We might even get a couple more seasons out of them.
