Specs per manufacturer: The Pygmy Falcon-II (#0517) is a compact rectangular urban daypack with distinct military styling and 1400 cubic inches (23 liters) of carry capacity. The Y-shaped compression strap that MAXPEDITION is famous for contributes to the bag’s form and structural integrity while a row of sewn nylon hard points in front allows users to attach other MAXPEDITION pouches and accessories with our “snap and anchor” modular expansion system.

Comfortable back padding and supple curvaceous straps supported by 1.25″ nylon webbing minimize the load on shoulders. Two side net pouches with cinch cord can be used to carry water bottles. Experience the workmanship, materials, design, and super durability for which MAXPEDITION is best known.

Findings: Untitled10 Got this bag for work, with the idea that it would probably be the last Maxpedition bag I ordered, because they’re so bombproof. Superdurable nylon, waterproofed and “Teflon’ed” for stain resistance, two exterior bottle pockets, loops for Molle accessories, (of which I have many..) two exterior pockets and one large interior with mini zip pocket interior. I’ve hiked this bag for miles, in the worst weather, and it still looks new. Sheds water like a duck, durable nylon’s been kicked around a boat all summer, and the reinforced bottom has sat on mud, silt, and wet loam without seeping water through to the main compartment. The pack has a padded back, and wears comfortably, even when loaded down and hiking with a .357, hip boots and a 12GA shotgun hiking through swamps for work. I thought it would be my only Max pack, but now I’m eyeing a Noatak gearslinger just for my office bag.

Maxpedition Monkey Admin Pouch – This pouch I bought mainly for the exterior Velcro, so I could add my DNR/ Alaska flag patches for work. But the interior has turned out to be a boon, holding a CR123 Nuwai Q3 flashlight, SOG Powerlock, and assorted batteries and pens. It also holds my cell accessories, like headphones, line out jack, and charger cable. A killer addition to any MaxP bag, get one.
