Findings: I was super excited to get this pen. I wanted a pen that I could leave in my pack ready for journaling. It has a key ring on one end which I attached to a loop on my pack so I wouldn’t lose it. My biggest dissapointment with this pen is that for some reason, it doesn’t write well at all on Write in the Rain pads which is all I take out into the backcountry. It works ok on regular paper, but not on write in the rain pads. I also find the pen cumbersome to put together in the full length mode. So while this pen is a fabulous idea, I think they need to do some more revisions on it before I can recommend it.
