Findings: When my new toesocks arrived from the Injinji rep, my teenage daughter yelled out, “Are those toesocks? Toesocks are amazing!” I rolled my eyes–a technique I learned from her. How cool could a bunch of fabric jammed between your toes be after all? I envisioned toe socks to be those bulky rainbow colored things so popular in the 80’s. I was wrong. Toe socks have gone high tech. And somewhere along the line, someone figured out the perfect balance between toe and sock. Continuing on their theme of attention to detail, they have clearly marked Right and Left to make them easy to put on. The material is a super soft wool, so soft I had to re-read the package to confirm it really was wool.  They come in varying lengths from crew to knee high. They are a perfect accompaniment to the ever popular Five Finger Shoes. I bought a pair of them in the fall at a conference and really haven’t worn them much this winter because of the sock issue. Now I’ll have to dig those out of the closet and give them another shot.

Conclusion;  two thumbs up! They make a great base layer sock or a stand alone on warmer days. Thankfully, the sample I got is too big for my daughter, so this pair is all mine. (Injinji is coming out with a youth line soon) I’m going to buy the knee high ones next.
