Findings: This semi-fitted rain jacket has passed the test on many a rainy day in Alaska. I stayed completely dry on the inside even after 3 straight days of rain in Resurrection Bay. The fit does not allow room to wear a PFD under it, so I wear mine outside of the coat. The adjustable wrist (velcro strap) allows it fit the shorter crowd well. Length wise, the jacket is just right. It isn’t so long that you look like you are wearing a shower curtain and it isn’t so short that you are constantly pulling the jacket down in the back under your pack. The jacket packs well in small corners of my pack. This is important since I live in a place where you always need to have your rain gear with you on trips–even when it is sunny when you head out.
