Findings: Love this chair! It is so comfortable. After a long day of hiking it is so wonderful to lean back and relax in this thing. I’ve brought this chair with me to lectures for parents to check out. I can hardly get them out of it! It is perfect for rocking a baby to sleep or just hanging out nursing. The weight is light enough to carry on any trip. It is super easy to set up and easy to learn to sit in too. While it isn’t designed for little kids to sit in alone, I’ve had 4 year olds in it without a problem. The only downside is that it isn’t a versatile piece of camping equipment. Other camp chairs can do double duty as sleeping pads etc, but the Monarch is just for sitting. But I have to say the comfort factor wins out over dual functionality. Well done Alite!
