Eklutna Lake trail to the Yuditna Public Use Cabin

http://dnr.alaska.gov/parks/cabins/anch.htm

Distance: 3 miles to the Yuditna cabin

Difficulty: Easy!

Comments: Motorized vehicles (snowmobiles and ATV’s) are allowed on some days. Be sure to check the schedule if you would like to avoid their company. Summer or winter, this trail is nice and flat and wide. A double jogger would have no trouble at all. Lots of families bike the packed gravel trails in the summer months. There is another cabin at the end of the lake called Serenity Falls. Wood is sometimes available and other not, so if you are planning a winter trip, bring along some firewood to keep the stove going.

Check out the slide show for some pics.
